This is what gives life depth. The darkness in life is what makes the bright even brighter. With thanksgiving, or at least trust, we can walk through shadow valleys knowing the sun still shines radiant on days ahead.
What disturbed me is that I’ve heard many Christians communicate this very thought, if not more gently. “Horrible things are happening because we’re systematically kicking God out of our country.”
Can I just call B.S. on this one?
